
Kimheath "Bong" Moeung has been inspired to dance by Michael Jackson at a
very young age. He has performed at the Apollo, and made callbacks for America's Best
Dance Crew season 4 &5 with 20/Twenty Cru. Bong has over 7 years of teaching
experience and educates through the 20/Twenty Cru motto, "inspired to inspire" and
"WUTZURVN?" He views dance not only as an art, but a lifestyle. 20/Twenty Cru is
considered to be the perfect vision, and Bong strives to spread this vision of art to the
community through his own lifestyle.
Kimheart "Choir Boi" Moeung is a member of Cincinnati's 20/TWENTY CRU. He
has studied at Chicago's Visceral Studios and New York's Broadway Dance Center. His
mission, as a dancer, is to blend many different styles of dance into his choreography.
Regardless of teaching in various workshops and classes, he will forever be a student of
dance and wishes to learn from anyone who appreciates the art. To Kimheart, a dancer
should never focus on what to take away from dance, but ultimately what they can do
to leave something for it. "Inspired to Inspire."
Julius "Eclypse" Jenkins is co‐founder of 20/Twenty Cru in Cincinnati, OH, an
authentic street‐dance crew that, within 17 short months of being established, has
become one of the most renowned street‐dance crews in the Midwest. In 2009,
20/Twenty Cru was a national finalist (top 12) in MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew
(Season 4). Also in 2009, 20/Twenty Cru won the Best of the Midwest Competition
hosted by ABDC judge, Shane Sparks. As a co‐founder and leader of 20/Twenty Cru,
Eclypse has choreographed and performed shows in and around Southwest, OH. As a
solo artist, he has judged and battled in competitions nation‐wide. Julius is a member of
G‐Style, an internationally renowned dance organization with the mission to teach old
and new generations originality and style within the art form known as popping. He has
competed in, won, and judged in many battles nationwide. He is also a Highlight
Entertainer with Hollywood Casino in Lawrenceburg, IN, where he choreographs and
performs freestyle shows. Julius is a talented and passionate performing artist with a
vibrant spirit and extensive leadership experience. He is well known in the community
as an inspiring role model with a consistently positive attitude and natural ability to
relate to people of all social, economic, and cultural backgrounds. Julius’ mission is
to utilize his artistic skills, enthusiasm and personal life experiences to give back to a
struggling urban community through mentoring, educating and believing in its cherished
youth.
Aaron "Flex" Gilbert, born in 1979 from a culturally diverse family, is a product of
several different music and dance genres. In 2002 he joined a group called "4 Universal
Elementz," an educational based hip‐hop group that performed at many universities,
high schools and community centers. "4UE" was featured in an exhibit at the Dayton Art
Institute. They later performed opening acts for Def Jam co‐founder Russell Simmons
and other well‐known entertainers/educators. In 2007 "Flex" moved to New York City to
further his dance by taking classes from "Jazzy J", a popper from the world famous
group "The Electric Boogaloos". "Flex" is now part of a legendary crew called "The
Mighty Zulu Kingz". This group was established in 1973 in New York City and was one of
the first b‐boy crews in hip‐hop history. They have performed with "Afika Bambaataa",
"The Wu Tang Clan", "Dj Muggs", "KRS One", amongst many other highly accredited hiphop
artists and entertainers. He has studied many different styles of dance with the
Broadway Dance Center in New York City, Jazzy J. "Peridance": Mr Wiggles, Atlanta
Dance Academy, Skeeter Rabbit and Poppin Pete. He has studied privately with
Footnote, Jazzy J, Disco Dave, Aquaboogie and Boppin Andre. His influences are Jazzy J,
Disco Dave, Aquaboogie, The Electric Boogaloos, The Lockers, Michael Jackson, Ginuine,
Boppin Andre and many more.
Darryl "Footnote" Dewer, a current member of the Funk‐A‐Looz Squad and is
considered a veteran street dancer from Dayton,Ohio who received his tutledge as an
original member of the dance group "Chain Reaction" where he mastered the art of
Popping, Locking, Boogaloo and Animation styles including robot, manniquin, dimestopping.
Footnote's original locking teachers, Hartford v Sundance Kid v Goosby (R.I.P)
and Paul Thurman were founding members of the original world‐famous group,
the Camelot Lockers who toured extensively with the Ohio Players in the 70's and
80's. Having learned directly from the originators, Footnote shares a treasure of
knowledge on the foundational structure of Locking. His Locking class participants
should expect to learn the foundational movement of the dance taught at a steady yet
loose and easy to follow pace, great Funk music to get down to, a few history lessons
sprinkled in for good measure, and most importantly, FUN, which is the overall point of
dancing.
Kelsa "Kadance" Rieger originally hails from Chicago, the birthplace of house music.
Between 2000 and 2005, under the wings of mentor, Boogie McClarin, and several other
inspiring street‐dancers, Kadance honed her personal style of house dance which blends
intricate footwork and the hard, raw Chicago‐vibe with a sensual and undulating Latin
flavor, stemming from her extensive studies and travels throughout Latin America. In
2005 Kadance began to immerse herself in the global underground street‐dance scene
in which house dance was beginning to play a significant role. In December 2006,
Kadance was put down with Venus Fly Trap Crew, the first female all‐styles crew in the
U.S. street‐dance community. Kadance was a national finalist in the Newport Rhythm &
Sound Dance Competition (Orlando; 2004), opened for Common (Chicago; 2005), won
first place in the Upstyles battle at the International Breakdance Event/I.B.E. (Chicago;
2006), and judged the all‐styles battle at Bashville Stampede (Nashville 2010). Kadance
and VFT Crew members co‐created and performed "Becoming Superfly," a piece based
on their experiences as women in hip hop. It premiered at b. Supreme in London, UK in
2007, and in the U.S.A. at the J.U.i.C.E. Hip Hop Dance Festival in Hollywood, CA in 2008.
Kadance taught Intro to Hip Hop Dance &Culture at Antioch College in Yellow Springs,
OH for 4 years, has taught several workshops for Dayton Contemporary Dance
Company, and is in her sixth season on faculty at Dayton Dance Conservatory (formerly
Jeanette Popp School of Dance). Kadance also leads a successful career developing and
managing programs that utilize the arts and culture to develop healthy communities.
She remains deeply humbled and eternally blessed to be a part of the world‐wide
underground street dance community.
Reginald "Sparrow Faith" Faulkner, born in San Bernardino, CA and raised in
Cincinnati, OH, spent the last 5 years studying the art of Krump Dance. Primarily self-taught,
and with no "formal training," Sparrow has risen to great heights as an original
member of Cincinnati's 20/Twenty Cru, Leader and Founder of Blood Covenant Krump
Crew and former member of Xtra Xclusive Dance Team. Sparrow has performed in music
video's with local artists such as Psalmitry and Bootsy Collins, auditioned for Americas
Best Dance Crew seasons 4 and 5, and was 2009's Best of the Mid‐West title holder with
20/Twenty Cru. Sparrow has performed for various events and occasions in the
Cincinnati area and has competed with The Cincinnati Rebels Cheer/Dance Team (All‐
Stars Comp. 2010). Sparrow has also ventured into other forms of dance such a Team
Dance, Praise Dance, Group Choreography, Hip‐Hop, Lyrical, Forms of Popping, Waving,
Breaking and Acrobats. He is currently ministering with the Tabernacle of David Dance
Ministry of Zion Global Ministries (Mason,OH) and resides in Cincinnati, OH. Reggie is a
re‐born Christian who seeks to touch the hearts of not only dancers, but people by
inspiring and influencing them through his dance and faith in Jesus.
Tyquan Hodac was born in a city of South Vietnam called Nha Trang. In 1989, his
family moved to the US and settled in an urban neighborhood where he gained street
knowledge and met Hip Hop. Since then, his mission as been to represent and spread
awareness about the truth of Hip Hop and the power it has to empower the oppressed,
misguided youth into a more positive route in life. In 2000, he started what is known as
the 4 Universal Elementz in Dayton, OH along with his brother Tiknology, Activist, Squirt
and J‐Ice. Later members were Flex, Tapu (R.I.P), Juan, Footnote, HentSix, DJ Nothin, DJ
Sparechange, Speed, P‐Dub, and Markee. 4UE represents all elements of the Hip Hop
Culture. As a BBoy of 4UE Hip Hop group, Tyquan battled all over the country. In April
2005 he won a battle in Illinois called IL Breaks, and Alien Ness, President of Zulu Kingz,
discovered Tyquan and honored him to be a part of the Legendary Crew Mighty Zulu
Kingz. Tyquan would then lead the Mighty Zulu Kingz into new heights, granting him the
leadership role as the Vice President of Mighty Zulu Kingz worldwide. In 2006, Tyquan
was put down with the last BBoy crew to represent the BX (Bronx) legacy, Ready To
Rock Crew. It was an honor for Tyquan to represent the first Bronx BBoy crew, the Zulu
Kingz and the last Bronx BBoy crew, Ready To Rock. Tyquan continues to attend battles
with his crew, Mighty Zulu Kingz, at many jams across the United States and world wide,
most notably, Freestyle Session 10th Year Anniversary in Hollywood, CA. Tyquan has
been inspired by BBoys such as Crazy Legs, Ken Swift, Mr Wiggles, Frosty Freeze, Alien
Ness, Flo Master, Poe One, Remind, KMel, Abstrakt and 7Gems (Nako, Burn1, Mr. Loose,
Floor Phantom). Tyquan continues to train, battle, judge, perform, teach, and
participate in outreach programs to support Hip Hop Culture and to pass the torch to
the next generation.
Charles "X‐Centric" Sheppheard, born and raised here in Dayton, Ohio, he has
been dancing for more than 16 years. A self taught hip hop dancer, his energy and
movement stand out in a crowd. He has been teaching at Center Stage Dance Studio of
Springboro for 6 years, his focuses are hip hop, jazz, waaking and house dance. He
respects and studies several dance forms and likes to add unique elements of other
forms to his works. His choreography and performances include appearances with
Antioch college, The Mighty Zulu Kings, Little Egypt, Kadance and teaching for Mz. Klassi,
DCDC 2, Clinton Massie High, Springboro High’s Pantherette’s, Dayton’s Fabulous
dancers and 3DI drum drill and dance team.
